, (Friday) REMINDER

1. Cut Nails

2. Have a Ghusal & Wearing Perfume if available 

3. Salaat al-Jumu’ah (Friday prayer) 

4. Making lots of du’aa’. (between the time the 

Imam sits down until the time the prayer is over 

and after `Asr until sunset)

5. Reading Soorat al-Kahf

6. Sending a lot of blessings upon the Prophet 

(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). 

Allah’s Messenger (PBH) mentioned the day of 

Jumu’a then said:

There is a time in it (Friday) at which no Muslim 

would stand up while praying and beg Allah the 

Most High, for something but He would give it 

to him; and he (PBH) pointed with his hand 

that (this time) is short. [Sahih Bukhari : 883]

★.*˛On Friday it is more rewarding to get ready quickly to go to the Mosque.¨*.★

Abu Hurairah (ra) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said,”On Friday the Angels stand out side the door of the mosque and write down the names of the people in the order in which they enter the mosque for Friday prayer. 

►The first group of people who enter the mosque get the reward equivalent to that of sacrificing a camel, 

►the people who enter the mosque after them get the reward equivalent to that of sacrificing a cow. 

►The people who enter the mosque after them get the reward equivalent to that of sacrificing a ram 

►and the people who follow on likewise get this reward of a Chicken, egg and so on there is a gradation of rewards for the people as they enter. 

►The angels keep writing the names of the people as they enter the mosque until the Imam sits down to give Khutbah. Then the angels collect their registers and sit and listen to the Khutbah.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

*~*Abu Hurairah Radiallahu anhu reports that the Holy Prophet (saw) said, ��Whoever recites the following Durood eighty times immediately after Asr Salaat on Friday, before standing up from his place, Allah will forgive eighty years of sins and grant him the reward equivalent to eighty years of worship.��

اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِنِ النَّبِيِّ الأُمِّيِّ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَسَلِّمْ تَسْلِيْمًا

(Allahumma salli alaa muhammadinin nabiyyil ummiyyi wa-ala aalihi wasallim tasleema)

Translation: O Allah bless Muhammad, the unlettered Prophet, and his family and grant them best of peace.*~*

This is a picture of a picture of my home land in Palestine. There are only 1600 people living there and only 2 primary schools, if you want to go to high school you have to go to Jerusalem or other nearby towns. It’s classified as area B. It’s right next to Jerusalem, normally it would take 10-15 minutes to get to Al-Aqsa mosque, now it takes around 2 hours. My grandparents left during the six day war out of fear, our house is still there empty and abandoned. I was 6 months old the last time I went and it’s my dream to go again.

From Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu `anhu), from the Prophet (sallallahu `alaihi wa sallam), that he said:

“A man does not frequent the mosques for the Prayer and the remembrance of Allaah except that Allaah, the Most High, greets him joyfully, just as the family of one who is absent greet him with joy when he returns to them.”

[Reported by Ibn Abee Shaybah, Ibn Maajah, Ibn Khuzaimah and others and it is found in Saheehit-Targheeb (no. 315)]
